Charity Exchange Nigeria (CEN) exists to strengthen

charitable work across Nigeria by making it more efficient, transparent, and impactful. We believe that Nigerians have a deep tradition of supporting one another, yet the charitable sector has long been held back by fragmentation, logistical barriers, and a lack of coordination. CEN was founded to change that.

Our platform is a sustainable, interconnected ecosystem that

connects donors and volunteers with vetted charitable organisations. Through our web portal, supporters can search a curated database of charities, donate in multiple currencies including Naira, GBP, Euros, and USD, or contribute their time and expertise as volunteers. Every organisation on our platform undergoes rigorous vetting covering financial accountability, governance transparency, safeguarding standards, and beneficiary feedback.

Small Steps Make Big Change for Others

The platform is a charitable venture and not for profit. We will not take any percentage from money donated to other charities through this platform.

We support causes spanning education and skills acquisition, health and saving lives, social care, housing, water and sanitation, arts, culture and heritage, disability, and other charitable purposes. Our commitment is built on three pillars: transparency, accountability, and integrity.

By 2030, we aim to raise ₦1 billion for charitable causes and enable over 10 million hours of volunteering through our platform. Every contribution, whether financial or in time, is directed to create the greatest possible good for Nigerian beneficiaries. CEN is sponsored by two charitable organisations – HealthyAfrica Limited (UK) and Centre for African Health (Nigeria). Together, we are unlocking our humanity for a better Nigeria.
